What is a strangers' bible study?
Have you heard about the strangers couples photoshoot trend? It’s exactly what it sounds like — two complete strangers are paired up and photographed as if they’re a real couple. No backstory, no relationship, just instant chemistry (or awkwardness) captured on camera.
It’s become a huge trend lately, especially on TikTok and Instagram. The idea is to explore human connection and see how two people who’ve never met can create something that looks intimate, romantic, or cinematic — all through body language and a good photographer’s eye.
But here's the thing, I'm no love match maker. I am, however, a passionate follower of Christ who believes people need to be spending more time getting to know our Heavenly Father through His word! So this strangers' bible study is about getting a small group of complete strangers together to open their bibles and talk about God.
My goal is to capture the authentic connection people have to each other when we invite God into the space, to get to know Him better and share our testimonies with others.
What is the cost?
Participation in the shoot will be a pay-what-you-can price with a minimum of $30.
Everyone from the Bible study will get several individual portraits including access to download all the high resolution images from the shoot.
When is it happening?
These are the dates available:

+ Wednesday October 22nd, 2025 at 5:15-6:15 PM
+ Friday November 14th, 2025 at 4:00-5:00 PM
Where is it happening?
The location for the shoot will be the field next to Take Heart Church in Mauldin, SC.
What do I need to bring?
Just bring your bible, bible study supplies, a snack, some water, a pillow, & blanket!
The plan is to create a cozy picnic look in the grass!
